2010 / An astounding balance !
A beautiful weather marked spring after the harshness of winter. On the contrary May was cloudy, cool but not much wet. Then flowering took place under unsettled weather which caused flower abortion and berry shot in June. As for July it proved to be scorching and dry to excess. In such a way that the rainfalls of the end of August were saving since they favored the veraison. The vintage finished with a very sunny period which permitted to reach good maturity. The sanitary state of the grapes was fine whereas the yields had been decreased by the disturbed flowering. The wines are dazzling for their balance: they are of an exemplary aromatic precision and also stand out by their great freshness, their remarkable purity, their concentration and fine consistency.
