2006 / Excellence as a reference
The vintage begun with a spring season frequently unsettled, notably wet by storms. On the opposite the months of June and July were very sunny, warm and dry. Whereas the frequent showers made a rainy month of August, most welcome after the drought of the early summer. The climatic alternations were followed by the return of a glorious weather in September, ideal conditions to achieve an optimum maturity and get an incomparable sanitary state. The grapes, perfectly balanced, very ripe, reveal a great aromatic purity backed by an astounding freshness.
