September 15th: the picking is launched
It is on a sunny Monday that the two hundred pickers of the wine estate set out for the vineyards.
The Vaudésir and Vaillons have shown the way, and then each plot of the wine estate has been carefully hand-picked.
Spared by adverse weather, our vineyards have been providing much higher yields than in 2013.
Grapes are ripe with great concentration, alcohol levels amounting to 12-13% vol. in the grands crus and acidity being comparable to the one of 2010.
These positive indicators give Didier Séguier and his team confidence in the vintage to come.
It remains to hope for mild weather conditions until the end of the harvest!
