DIDIER SEGUIER : The signature of William Fèvre wines
Didier Séguier, who originates from the Bordeaux region, knew from a very early age that he wanted to become a winemaker. After graduating in viticulture and oenology he linked together the experiences in France and abroad in order to become imbued with the typicity of the terroirs and with the varied winemaking practices. In 1992 he joined Bouchard Père & Fils in Beaune as assistant of the winemaker Philippe Prost. During six years this keen cyclist and golfer knew how to put his endurance and perfectionism into his work. Then, thanks to his skills and ability to manage a team, he was promoted to the management of the Domaine William Fèvre at the time of its acquisition in 1998. From that date Didier Séguier and his team have promoted the domain: they have given it a style and an identity that now place it among the best references in Chablis.
